Hello! Welcome to my humble website! This is an ongoing work in progress that documents my social, legal, and medical transitions, which started in 2004. Being trans can mean so many different things to many people, but for me personally, it means I was assigned female at birth, but I'm actually male, and I've found medical treatments to be necessary for me to feel at home in my body and present in a way that's most authentic. For what it's worth, I don't personally identify as "FTM" or anywhere outside the gender binary. You'll no doubt notice that I go out of my way to stress that something may be my personal opinion, or such and such thing was strictly my experience. This is intentional. There's a false notion that there's a "right way" and a "wrong way" to be trans, and it is - not kidding! - completely false. This website does not serve to police gender or gender presentation. If you're considering medical transition: The only thing I can tell you is to make those decisions for yourself. I can give you resources that can help you make informed decisions, and maybe tell you stuff based on my personal experience, but that's pretty much it.

This site should be viewed at your discretion. I put fair content-warning in places where I feel they're needed, but sometimes those get ignored and then I get upset emails. So seriously, if there's a link you don't want to see, don't click it.

If for any reason you feel inclined to get in touch with me, and the handy "contact me" link doesn't work for you for some reason, my email address is zander8605@gmail.com. I will do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible. I'll respond even faster if you're not rude, pushy, or demanding :-) (seriously, some of you really need to learn some damn manners and exercise a little patience!) If you consider yourself an ally! Read this! If you want to ask me some super basic stuff that you could just as easily Google! Read this! (for real, Google is your friend) If you're an ally and wondering why I will not give you All The Answers! Read this! (and stop calling yourself an ally, because you're not. Like, at all)
