Hello!! Your fellow unschoolers are banding together to compile an unschooler magazine/zine, and we’d love your help! If you can contribute knowledge, essays, journals, and/or photos that reflect you—your life, experiences, passions, hobbies, work, etc.—we encourage you to do so; your efforts will not go unnoticed and it doesn’t have to be formal. Some ideas include: Reply
Travels, The Arts: music, crafts, comics, hairstyles, dance, paintings, written works (poetry, quotes, essays, interviews, short stories, dreams and aspirations, journals etc.) We are also looking for a good black and white cover photo!; The Sciences: recycling, weather, astronomy, health etc.; How-to’s on just about anything; Recipes, the kind that you like to eat or play-dough, bubbles, and doggie treats; Weird Facts: did you know that it’s impossible to lick your own elbow? Reviews and Recommendations: music, movies, web sites, books, restaurants, products, ect..; and any interesting Events happening between January and August of 2005: camps, demonstrations, comet showers, performances, festivals, etc. (With your help, we hope to compile an unschool calendar with tons of events! Please include as much of the “who, what, when, where, why, how much” info as you can!) Reply
To end this issue, we’re doing a collective page on things that bring us personal happiness, (see wiki page WhatBringsMeHappiness)weather it is indulging in some small eccentricity, riding rollercoaters, or sipping coffee on a rainy day - add your own! Reply
