I figure that since everyone else has one of these pages, I might as well make one and fish for some comments. Hopefully positive, but I'll take constructive criticism and cash, too. Moving right along... My name's Patrick Claypool, and I've attended the first session in Oregon for three years (beginning in 2003), and both sessions in Oregon during 2006. I'd love to talk to any of you that can put up with my occasional incoherent ramblings and not-so-occasional typographical/grammatical/any combination thereof corrections. That's one of my pet peeves. Just talk to me anyway, because I'm actually very interesting and nice despite any evidence to the contrary: Reply

I just got home from NBTSC yesterday, and was warmly welcomed with hugs and sushi. I have awesome parents. Camp feels so far removed from my life all of a sudden - I feel almost like it might have been something I dreamed. It's an odd feeling, but I still have the knowledge, confidence and strength that I gained while I was there. Going to two sessions was a big stretch for me, and I'm relieved that I made it that long. It's the longest period of time that I've been without my parents, and I didn't realize I'd been missing them until I saw them again. On life notes, I'm psyched about all the plans I have - the co-op/health food store job is going to be awesome if I can secure it. I'm going to locate a gaming shop nearby so I can acquire a larger collection of geek accessories (dice, books, mmm) and perhaps some equally geeky friends. Reply
Yeah, I'm excited. Reply
If you want to talk grammar geekage, accost Vruba sometime on IRC. He's got a large knowledgebase about such things. Reply
Also, I'm guilty of the same attitude towards corrections on grammar and spelling. Ta for now. Reply
Hey Patrick! It's been nice being at camp with you for three years. You were a little annoying in your first year, to tell the honest truth, but you've gotten much better since then. (I only commented on that because you did!) Your viola playing has really improved over the years, and I think this year it was especially great. You're cool to talk to and I'm sure you could completly beat me at chess. (Well, I guess that's not saying much, since I'm pretty dang bad at it, but you seem really good!) And I miss camp too. -AndyP Reply
Patrick is quite a rare species known only to the Sacramento valley. They are a medium sized creature, recognizable by their long mullets giving them the nickname mulletboy
. Careful though, for they are territorial creatures often challenging intruders to games of chess and mercilessly kicking their asses. They are also known for excellent viola playing (Don't call it a violin or they will be very offended) and mad roleplaying skills. Reply
Stats, as edited in by PatrickC: -2 STR, +4 DEX, -2 CON, +2 INT, -8 WIS, +4 CHA. +2 to Perform (violin), Perform (viola) and Knowledge (video games) checks - Patricks are adept musicians and nerds. -Gain Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat. Patricks train in Aikido, and are thus adept at unarmed attacks. -Suffer a -2 penalty to any dice rolls they make before 12:00 PM. Patricks are nocturnal by nature and don't respond well to awakening before this time.
Heh, anyways. I was in a strange mood. Patrick is a very cool person who has really grown up over the years we've known each other. Good to know you, man. -Alex L. Reply
