When I was 18 I described myself like so: I love pajama pants, and the color yellow-orange. I am eighteen years old, vegan, a sagittarius, an accused “hair flirt,” an aspiring interior designer, a fiery redhead, and a somewhat radical thinker who admires extremists with a cause. I am ever-increasingly opinionated (and honest). I've lived coast to coast, and I enjoy traveling. Reply
I'm twenty now and pretty much the same. I still dream big dreams, though I'm not sooo vegan, and I now plan to be an architect, rather than an interior designer. It's also been pointed out to me recently that I wear a lot of beige and neutral colors. Reply

Actually, my leaving the public education system has a little something to do with flip-flops and the banning of all backless shoes at school in Georgia. Those never ending biased rules and my adolescent logic and spirit (as well as the the wonderfully crafted Teenage Liberation Handbook) led me to homeschooling... Reply

All I that I felt was the lifeless, chilly overhead vent blasting out stiff, frigid, engineered air as I recently realized that my favorite feelings in the world are as simple as the cool breeze touching my skin. I did not truly appreciate this feeling until I was inside one day, staring out the window, looking down at a tree. The branches of the tree waved gently back and forth fanned by a seemingly mellow breeze. In that second, I subconsciously expected to feel that same breeze touch me, and was thoroughly disappointed upon realizing that the wind would not penetrate the thick brick of the house I was in. In those few moments, I realized how much I love the feeling of camping in the brisk, fresh mountain climate, riding with the car window down, going horseback and barefoot, or even taking a walk in the crisp fall air. It was in that instant that I understood that, of all the comforts that home brings, it does not provide the enrapture of the balmy wind dancing through your hair and caressing your sun-kissed skin on a perfect day. Sometimes, can be the best feeling in the world. Reply
Bean!I'd be interested to know how or why you chose it.
Aliens, good men, and other fantasy creaturesis a good quote, I think, and I agree that coffee rocks—most deffinately. —Brittney
