I'm actually quite disturbed to see this on wiki....really, I'm kind of scared. Please tell me this is a joke...—Ezza Reply
Ezza i was just wondering why you thought this was disturbing? -Janet Reply
- So....it's not me being all...grrr-like. I just happen to be anti most pop culture, and am not used to seeing this type of thing on wiki. Generally I like more in depth discussions. Also the fact that it's spelled wrong. It just reminds me far too much of girls I used to go to school with in Jr. High who had little or no intelligence or language skills. I tend to expect more intelligence out of wiki-ers —Ezza
- Me too, but... since when has one's taste in music (or lack thereof) been a reliable indicator of one's intelligence? True a lot of airheads listen to Christina Agulara, but a lot of idiots listen to Sum 41, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, even Ani DiFranco, I'm sure has her share of airhead fans. The only real way to gauge someone's intelligence is to get to know them (I don't even trust those IQ tests, they are really only accurate for a very spesific personality type). —Neal
- I wasn't necesarily judging on the music taste. To each their own. I was looking more at the phrasing and and spelling. I get a general image of someone for that, yes, but I'm going more on people only commenting on how hot she is and not even being able to spell her name right. She is, in fact, a human being and not just a sex symbol and pop....icon—Ezza

- Well technically she's a human being, but make no mistake, she is a sex symbol, it's in the job discription of
music industry whore
. If you're lucky you'll never come into direct contact with anyone who masturbates to your album covers, but if you are a popstar/whore you're going to be a sex object. This is why Ani DiFranco isn't a billionaire by now, she has some dignity (and talent). —Neal (who is all for women's rights, but just doesn't have much respect for talentless pop icons with more sillicon in them then brain cells, no offence.)
- Okay, I think we're on the same page, which is why I don't understand why you're arguing with me. She is a sex symbol, but that is not all she is, and I tend to expect more out of wiki type folk than to just comment on how hot she is and not even spell her name right. I just expect more. Do I respect her? Not really, but I do respect that she is a human being. Even if she is generally selling her body as a symbol to become
famous
and make money that she's just going to use on essentially nothing worth while and throwing her all into all that corporate bullshit that I despise. But that's my opinion. My comment was in reference to the lack of intelligence in the original comments and hoping they were a joke. That is all. They had nothing to do with liking, not liking, or respect thereof of the pop icon ,Christina Aguilera. I could argue with you all day about the music industry
, but it's not worth it. They will be what they will be, and I quite enjoy quietly ignoring them while listening and making what music I enjoy. —Ezza
